Tiësto – Kaleidoscope

So Tiësto does come through with awesome things sometimes. The trance mogul is currently preparing to launch his fourth album, Kaleidoscope, which is set to feature quite a few denizens from Indie land.

Guests include, among others: Metric’s Emily Haines, Bloc Party lead singer Kele Okereke, fellow dance musician Calvin Harris, and, most surprising, Jónsi from Sigur Rós.

Yes, that Jónsi from that Sigur Rós.

I know right?

Collaborations like these could either be really awesome, or really, really tragic. I dig the ethereal-sounding title track quite a bit, so I’m going to be cautiously optimistic about it. As you should.

We’ll see.

Kaleidoscope is set to be released on October 6.
