NPR’s Tiny Desk Series:Raphael Saadiq

If Raphael Saadiq’s face looks familiar then you might remember a R&B group in the late 80’s and 90’s called Tony! Toni! Toné!.

Raphael’s career started young when after high school he went on tour with Prince and now he’s recorded with a plethora of musicians from Stevie Wonder,Tribe Called Quest to Joss Stone and a ton more.

I started bopping my head and trying to sing along instantly from his smooth voice and 60’s sound.

Vodpod videos no longer available.

Latest album from Raphael Saadiq is ‘The Way I See It‘ .

Here’s a goodie : Oh Girl (rmx) f. Jay-Z – Raphael Saadiq(mp3)
