In Memory of the Late Mr. and Mrs. Comfort


This set by great photographer Richard Avedon is totally fantastic.

From the framing to the props used. You can say that it’s a bit macabre, but that’s sort of what makes it work. The New Yorker describes the set as a fable, and that’s a very germane way of putting it. The whole thing tells a pretty interesting story.
